Welcome to The Champagne Edit! I'm Dana Massie and I am a behind-the-scenes event and wedding content creator, based in Salt Lake City, UT.

Think of me as your own personal freelance content creator. I will be there to capture every tiny detail - from getting ready with your bridesmaids to first looks to the dance floor. My job is to get all of the candid shots you want, so that your guests can enjoy themselves and celebrate by your side, rather than focus on getting videos and photos themselves.

On the day, I'll use my phone camera to capture photos and videos, then share them all with you, ready for you to cherish within 24 hours.

I'm not your professional photographer or videographer, but I do work in harmony with them. My content will give you a real, unedited sense of your day, from start to finish, without the waiting times. How great would it be to share moments from your big day the very next day?

The Champagne Edit is a BTS look at all of those special champagne moments - from weddings to birthdays to proposals, and everything in between.

DOING WHAT I LOVE

I'm a Marketing Strategist by day and a stay-at-home dog mom by night (okay, really all day long since I work from home). But I started my career working for wedding dress designer, Maggie Sottero Designs. And I quickly fell in love with the wedding world. (Don't tell my boyfriend but I have our entire wedding planned already and he hasn't even proposed yet.)

At Maggie Sottero, I strategized and created content, among other job responsibilities. It was magical.

After being at Maggie Sottero, I worked for a luxury floral company as the marketing lead. You could say that I've had my fair share of keeping up on social and pop culture trends, strategizing content, shooting content, and editing content.

But I miss the wedding world, and hearing all of the beautiful love stories of brides and couples. So here I am, ready to share your love story with the world by strategizing and getting content for your socials.

what is an event & wedding content creator?

t's someone to capture all of the behind-the-scenes and candid moments from your big day. You get to stay present, and not have to worry about capturing content yourself to relive the next day. Your friends & family can be in the moment with you as you celebrate, instead of trying to shoot photos and videos for you.

Wake up the next morning with all of the moments you want to relive, and experience some of the ones you might have missed - you don't have to wait for the professional photos or videos to come back.

Share your day as soon as you would like with your followers, friends, & family that weren't able to join!

how does it differ from a photographer or videographer?

The main differences are:

I shoot everything on an iPhone.
I deliver content within 24 hours of the event.
I deliver all content, raw and unedited.
I provide edited IG Reels/TikToks for you to post as soon as you want!

But it's important to note, I don't replace a professional photographer or videographer. I simply join your media team, complementing all of the content they provide to you!

I shoot with a focus on high-quality, candid content. But I will work with you to shoot content that matches your aesthetic/style/preferences.

do you shoot content for wedding vendors?

Absolutely. When a wedding vendor is focused on doing their work, it is easier for someone else to get that content of them. Because let’s face it - content is king, especially for small business owners that need to market themselves and their work.

Doing my job allows you to focus on what you do best.
